In doing so, goods have various charges and fees imposed before a client can access goods.  These costs and fees are made up of Value Added Tax on the value of the good/s including the freight component (shipping or airfreight costs) to get the goods to the Cook Islands.  Some goods also have import levy or duty fees imposed e.g. Motor Vehicles, Fizzy drinks, alcohol, tobacco to name a few examples.  Theses fees are paid to Cook Islands Customs.
